FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who was caught on video robbing a Whataburger with a large knife.
The incident occurred on February 28 at around 9:15 a.m. at the Whataburger located on E. Lancaster Avenue. According to police, the suspect initially attempted to pay for his order with multiple cards, all of which were declined. After stepping away from the counter, he returned with a large knife and began threatening employees.
The video shows the frightened employees moving away from the counter to create distance between themselves and the suspect. The man then grabbed a bag of food from behind the counter before leaving the scene.
